I grew up in the beautiful countryside of Shropshire before my life’s journey led me through a broad variety of positions and different locations. These included in the business world in the City of London (in Information Technology), travelling and working in Greece, Australia, Czechoslovakia and France before settling back in the UK and becoming a mother, followed closely by Holistic Health practitioner.
In my early 20s I was involved in a serious car accident which changed my life. Over the next few years my health challenges led me to find ways of healing to come back to a good place of well being. Following the birth of my daughter in the early 2000’s I was led further down the path of holistic health and followed my growing passion of Alternative and Complementary medicine. I qualified first as a Homeopath & Flower Essence Practitioner and then Bowen Technique Therapist, along with Reiki, Neurostructural Integration Technique, EFT & Matrix Reimprinting practitioner.
I enjoy adding to my knowledge through my continuing professional development, discovering yet more aspects to healing whilst augmenting my skill base; this allows me to adapt treatments as and when it is appropriate.
Through my life experience I believe that we all have the capability of healing from the different challenges that come up. True wellbeing comes from self knowledge and only you can make the right decisions for yourself; I provide a space where you can come as you are. I find it so rewarding helping people to recognise their personal power and find a positive way forwards.
Shropshire Review
For years I have suffered with a painful neck and shoulders, which a couple of years ago led to a frozen shoulder. So when county Bowen therapist Kate Fullerlove offered to see if she could help, I had nothing to lose.
Bowen Therapy is a hands-on technique which aims to let the body heal itself. The theory is that the body will recognise problems and imbalance and make the necessary changes to bring it back to a state of equilibrium. Suitable for all ages, it can also help with emotional stress, and improve the quality of life for the terminally ill.
